Laut Statistischem Landesamt lag der Verbraucherpreisindex um 8,0 Prozent über dem Niveau des Vorjahresmonats.

Das ist der höchste Wert seit Beginn der Zeitreihe im Jahr 1995. Energie war um 36,6 Prozent teurer als ein Jahr zuvor. Nahrungsmittel verteuerten sich um 15,8 Prozent. Die Teuerungsrate lag in Rheinland-Pfalz zuletzt regelmäßig geringfügig unter der im gesamten Bundesgebiet. (Foto: Pixabay)
